Okay, so just keep these things in mind: when I say "huge" or something similar I mean "deformed" because the position of the legs caused an odd effect to be put on the hips. There are people that have big hips, but the way people stand still applies to them, because they are humans too. hopefully I got everything I needed to add...:iconidislikeitplz:

EDIT: Alright, I've made another mistake OTL
The correct word I SHOULD have said was "deformed". So whenever you see "huge" or "large" or whatever describing the hips, replace it with deformed, because I cannot right now. XD;; I will as soon as I can get on PhotoShop. Aaanywaaay... Thanks, Phanny

The biggest problem here was the hips. They were HUGE. And as I went along, I realized that the problem was with the way the legs were positioned, though I probably should have realized that earlier! XD;; Oh well.

You see, if you try to stand in that pose, with the huge gap in between your legs... You can't. I have seen this pose be tried so many times, and not once have I seen it pulled off. At all. Because it is one of those poses that you just cannot do. So don't ever try it in a drawing, pleeeeease. You know, unless the character is Mr. Fantastic or someone stretchy.

In my first re-drawing, I changed the legs so that they were straight down, so that she had a solid support. The way they were bent in the first place would make for an unstable and quite wobbly stance. Try it yourself, right now: put your knees together... then bend your legs outward so that it forms a 90° angle. You're really wobbly, right? It's hard to stay in that pose for too long, especially if you are standing. ..and also I added some stuff about torsos for male and female. XD I thought it would be good for you to know if you didn't already! If you did, well, then ignore it lol.

Now, if you really wanted that bent-legged stance, then you would need to change it. See the "Misc" section-- you need to have the legs pressed together. C: It explains more, but that's pretty much all you need.

Well, I can't really say much more, everything else was pretty much right on target.

Anyway, thanks for submitting your art to #Improvement-Club! :D I hope I helped you become a better artist... Cause I totally feel like I haven't

I am not an expert in anatomy nor am I any good at drawing backgrounds. I: All things that I correct are just general things that will make the anatomy at LEAST look a little better. I am not a miracle worker, and not everything I know about the body is correct. So please don't kill me.
